Car Title Loan for Quick Start of Your Business - Finance Plan ...

Home mortgage loan is more familiar to the laymen as compared to the car title loan. Those who are quite aware of and interested in financial lingo may not find it a Hebrew phrase. However, even for these informed persons, title loan is only a way to be out of financial chaos with some quick cash. They can hardly think about using it as quick take-off for their business effort. But the reality is that with what accrues to you through vehicle title loan is adequate enough to water your wilting business.

Unlike the bank car title loan is highly expensive but can be availed within a few hours. The banks ask for a prolix list of documents to judge the authenticity of your statement in the loan application form. You need to prepare your personal as well as professional details including but not limited to income status, credit background, the purpose of loan taking etc. Furthermore, the bank authority will arrange a meeting with the short-listed borrowers after primary scanning of the applications.

Sacrifice of time and effort yet you don?t know whether loan will be granted or not! Official red tapes extend the time of loan processing and your frustration is quite understandable when you are denied monetary help after weeks? of waiting. From the nature of bank loans as presented in the above paragraphs, you can easily assume that it can never make a choice for immediate money requirement purpose. Search for an alternative ends at the doorstep of cash for title loan industry.

Title loan brings you a fairly good amount. You can invest it for a variety of business needs like buying new equipments, doing some expansion works, procuring raw materials etc. The amount of money you avail through this lending choice depends on the worth of your car?s title. However, the entire sum of a car?s value is not offered rather a part of it is extended to you as cash for your title. A host of factors play crucial role in determining how much you can access against your car title mortgage. Among these factors, the most important are the car model, the date of its manufacture and how much it is worth at the current market price.

The most challenging part of title loan is that you are obliged to make pay-off within 30 days. Collection of a huge sum for payback and that too within such a shorter time limit is nearly impossible. However, playing the wise card is the mantra to make a good use of the loan for your business purpose and make a timely payoff to swat the troubles far away.

Dragon Soul Wielders

While Power Wielders are those that have been passed on the ability to use one of the forces that make up the world at their will, a Dragon Soul Wielder is much more then just that. They have been given the very Soul of one of the 10 Dragons that sacrificed themselves to seal the Chaos Dragon that went rampant on the world, giving them not only a strong version of the Force the Dragon was in charge of, but also the very might of the Dragon itself. Gifted with such a power, they are born with a special mark on their body that stands as proof of their power.

These marks would resonate a bit when sensing a nearby new Dragon Soul Wielder in order to aid them seeking others like them. But just having the Dragon Soul and Mark doesn't instantly give them the great power they are meant to have. For a Dragon Soul Wielder to truly unlock their true potential they have to bond with the very Dragon Soul itself. A task that can only truly be done by realizing the connection that the Wielder bears with the Dragon Soul, seeking and finding that link between them and accepting that they are indeed one in the same.

Only when the Wielder learns this does he or she unlock the true power of the Dragon Soul at it's full potential, combining with the Soul in both body and mind.

RIM posts Q2 earnings: $2.87 billion in revenue, softer $235 million loss

Research in Motion headquarters

RIM may have given us hope that its transition to BlackBerry 10 has turned a corner, but that doesn't mean the dark clouds have entirely broken just yet. The company's second fiscal quarter saw it generate $2.9 billion in revenue, a slight gain over last quarter, while it posted a net loss of $235 million -- again better than expected, but not the best news it could deliver. Waterloo's main challenge was holding on to its smartphone base. While RIM did expand the total BlackBerry user base to 80 million, its phone shipments dropped from 7.8 million to 7.4 million and were braced by shipments of just 130,000 PlayBooks, or half as many tablets as were delivered in the spring.

The sunshine is mostly found in the total picture. RIM says it's still on track to deliver the first BlackBerry 10 phones in early 2013; while the smartphone maker is bracing for an operating loss in its ongoing third quarter, the higher revenue and reduced losses suggest to CEO Thorsten Heins that RIM is getting its fiscal house in order before BlackBerry 10 (hopefully) renews interest. Full details of the company's financial performance are available after the break.

5 Bills That Won't Rebuild Credit After Bankruptcy | Credit Solutions

reviewing bankruptcy - Quizzle.comIn these difficult economic times, unfortunately, many good people have had no choice but to declare bankruptcy and start over. Bankruptcy, of course, isn?t a permanent condition?eventually, these folks will re-emerge, and when they do, most have roughly the same question: how do I rebuild my credit?

Get the best money tips at Credit Visionary

Building your reports and scores back up is an important part of re-joining the credit community, if you will. The fundamentals are much the same as when you started building credit in the first place?you need to prove your creditworthiness and reliability as a borrower. This largely means paying various bills on time, or repaying any outstanding loans on schedule.

But you might be surprised which bills don?t really help you rebuild credit.

Today, Quizzologists are focusing on accounts that you may very well need, but which won?t play a big part in restoring your credit to health.

Among these not-very-helpful bills:

Rent: You need to live somewhere, sure, but the mere act of paying your rent won?t help you. Conversely, however, failure to pay can result in actions in small claims court, and collections agencies can be put on the job of recouping what?s owed. This can cause major problems for your ability to rent apartments or houses in the future.

Medical Bills: If you don?t have your health, what do you have? Well, not much, but paying off these bills won?t improve the health of your credit. The monthly payment you make won?t get reported to the credit bureaus?but failing to keep up with your schedule, most times, will be.

Cell Phones: Another item you may have to pay for, but don?t expect any reward for doing so on time, it won?t get reported. While being a little late shouldn?t hurt you too bad, if you start to go 30 to 60 days delinquent, you?re heading back into the kind of trouble you just got out of.

Utilities: Keeping the lights and stove on, (like keeping a phone in service), are viewed as basic necessities, not great opportunities to demonstrate your renewed ability to borrow and pay back loans to future creditors. By all means, let there be light, but it won?t rebuild your score.

Federal/State Tax Liens: Staying on Uncle Sam?s good side is important, no doubt, but if you?ve had a lien placed against you, it won?t drop off your reports and scores until it?s fully satisfied. So, alas, no bonus brownie points for getting right with the government.

If you?ve declared bankruptcy, these kinds of bills and accounts won?t give you any extra opportunities to rebuild your battered scores. The (semi-) good news: you?re not alone. With the glut of bankruptcies in recent years, many companies are finding themselves having to be more forgiving and flexible in terms of who they choose to do business with.

Another helpful ally in this process is your bank. Ask them what lines of credit they might extend that you can grab hold of to help lift you out of your bankruptcy rut.

Are you looking to re-join the ranks of the good credit world? How can Quizzle help? Find out.

Pennsylvanians give governor low marks on Sandusky probe: poll

PHILADELPHIA (Reuters) - Most Pennsylvania voters give Governor Tom Corbett fair or poor marks for his investigation, as state attorney general, into reports that former Penn State University assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky was sexually abusing children, a poll showed on Wednesday.

Only 17 percent of the state's voters think Corbett, who served as Pennsylvania's top prosecutor for two terms before becoming governor in 2011, did a good or excellent job investigating what became a scandal that shook college football, according to the Franklin & Marshall College Poll.

Some 65 percent said Corbett did a fair or poor job on the case that led to Sandusky's conviction in June for sexually abusing 10 boys over 15 years.

G. Terry Madonna, the poll director, said the results reflect a sense that Corbett, a Republican who faces re-election in 2014, did not move the grand jury investigation fast enough and that he did not put enough manpower into the probe.

There are also questions about Corbett's decision to serve on Penn State's board of trustees after being elected governor, he said.

"The prospects that this will be over any time soon are not very good," Madonna said.

Kevin Harley, Corbett's press secretary, defended the governor's record on the Sandusky case.

"I would say the verdict of 45 (convictions) on 48 counts is a complete vindication of the thoroughness of the investigation," Harley said.

The scandal will generate headlines in coming months. Sandusky is scheduled to be sentenced on October 9, and one of his victims, now a young man, will testify, the man's lawyer said.

A series of civil lawsuits is expected to be filed by victims.

In January two former Penn State officials will face trial on charges they lied to a grand jury about the crime. They were cited in a report criticizing school leaders for staging a coverup to avoid bad publicity.

The telephone poll of 632 Pennsylvania voters, conducted September 18-23, had a margin of error of plus or minus 3.9 percentage points.

Billionaire Putin critic faces 5 years jail in Russia

MOSCOW (Reuters) - Russian billionaire Alexander Lebedev was charged on Wednesday with hooliganism and battery over a televised punch-up and faces up to five years in jail in what he says is revenge for criticizing President Vladimir Putin.

The 52-year-old backer of British newspapers The Independent and London's Evening Standard, whose net worth was put at $1.1 billion by Forbes magazine in March, was also ordered by federal criminal investigators not to leave the country.

Lebedev, who owns a bank and a campaigning Russian newspaper, is rare among the so-called oligarchs in speaking out against the Kremlin and says he is a victim of a crackdown on dissent since Putin returned to the presidency in May.

He faces the same charge of hooliganism motivated by religious, political, racial, ethnic or ideological hatred as three women from the punk band Pussy Riot, who were jailed for two years in August after bursting into a Russian Orthodox church and belting out a profanity-laced anti-Putin protest.

"I know the position of the president," Lebedev, a softly-spoken former KGB spy, told Reuters in an interview on Tuesday in which he denied funding the opposition and said he had upset the Kremlin by campaigning against corruption.

"He thinks it is true that I have been funding (the opposition), so I was violating rule No. 1 - if you have money you should not interfere (in politics)."

Prosecutors opened an investigation into Lebedev last year over an incident in which he leapt out of his chair and threw a punch at property developer Sergei Polonsky, himself a one-time billionaire, during a television talk show.

He denied hitting Polonsky in the face although Polonsky fell to the floor and looked dazed.

Putin's spokesman, Dmitry Peskov, declined to comment. He had previously said that the Kremlin had not put pressure on Lebedev or other wealthy Russians over their business interests.

RULE NUMBER ONE

Lebedev's business interests in Russia include a bank and real estate assets; he owns a stake in state-controlled airline Aeroflot and has a potato farm.

Most rich Russians have avoided criticizing the Kremlin since the arrest in 2003 of former oil tycoon Mikhail Khodorkovsky, once Russia's richest man, after he defied Putin by taking an interest in opposition politics. Khodorkovsky's oil empire was broken up and sold off, and he is still in prison.

But with former Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev, Lebedev co-owns the Novaya Gazeta newspaper which has for years criticized the Kremlin and exposed corruption in Russia. Four of its journalists were killed between 2001 and 2009.

He says he is a victim of increasingly aggressive tactics to silence critics since Putin returned to the presidency for a six-year term in May, following the biggest protests against him since he was first elected president in 2000.

Other steps which the opposition says have targeted them include laws increasing fines for protesters, tighter controls of foreign-funded campaign groups and tougher Internet rules.

One protest leader, anti-corruption blogger Alexei Navalny, has been charged with theft and faces up to 10 years in jail. Another, Gennady Gudkov, has been expelled from parliament and could face two years in prison on charges of continuing his business activities while a deputy. Both deny the accusations.

A source familiar with the situation said that Lebedev was charged at the start of a two-hour-long procedure.

He was asked to sign a form limiting his travel but refused, citing his legal rights, the source said, adding that Lebedev did not intend to leave Russia.

A trial is expected to start in late October, the source said.

Lebedev's lawyer, Genri Reznik, told Ekho Moskvy radio the charges against the media magnate were "absolutely made up".

"I believe this is revenge for Lebedev's public activity, for his real counteraction of corruption, for publishing an opposition newspaper, for supporting Navalny ... He has many 'sins' (in the eyes of the Kremlin)," he said.

Lebedev says his efforts to sell off his business assets in Russia, because of pressure from the Kremlin, have so far failed because investors have been scared off by a "smear campaign".

His National Reserve Bank was searched by security service agents in February, and he says he has been under surveillance.

His son Evgeny Lebedev, who owns the Independent and Evening Standard, said in a statement the charge was "an extraordinarily disproportionate response" to the incident in the TV studio.

"My father has been targeted because of his determination to fight against corruption and to be a crusader for democracy in a country where this has not always been welcome," he said.

"I really hope that this does not presage a new phase of crackdowns on those who speak out against injustice."

Shock Claim: Canadian Police Ignored Potential Evidence Of ...

The RCMP long suspected corruption in the construction industry involving the Montreal Mafia and dirty politicians but ignored possible leads in order to target the Rizzuto clan's drug trafficking business during its five-year investigation dubbed Project Colis?e according to Corporal Vinicio Sebastiano who testified yesterday before the Charbonneau Commission as reported by Monique Muse for The Gazette.?

Sebastiano testified that the potential evidence included video surveillance of some construction-linked people seemingly dropping off cash payments at social clubs from which the Rizzuto clan conducted its business, and recorded conversations discussing construction companies and political parties.? However, "it was usually dismissed as 'non-pertinent' evidence" said Sebastiano:? "when construction or political parties came up, the tapes kept rolling but 'we weren't listening.'"? Those tapes will be played for the Charbonneau Commission in the coming days.

Although Sebastiano identified several big players in the construction trade he claims visited the social clubs he "did not point the finger at any specific company executives who handed over the cash" as reported by CBC.

Newest "50 Shades" is ?5-Stars? Say Picky Erotica Readers ...

Lexi Maxxwell?s newest title, ?50 Shades of Lexi Maxxwell,?
published just two weeks ago has already 32 reviews, with an
average of 4.9 out of 5 stars. XXX Files I love writing for my readers. It?s one of my favorite things I do, and I see no reason why they should spend a fortune to familiarize themselves with my writing.

Lexi Maxxwell, prolific erotica author, gathered 50 previously published short stories in a ?mega-bundle,? and released the title for the bargain price of $9.99. Capitalizing on the runaway success of E.L. James breakthrough ?mommy porn? title, ?50 Shades of Grey,? Maxxwell titled her bundle ?50 Shades? as shorthand for erotica.

After publishing a short title each week nearly every week this year, ?50 Shades? is Ms. Maxxwell?s most successful work to date. It assembles much of her work from earlier in the year into a single, massive collection that makes it easy for her fans to have their favorite stories all in one book, while giving new fans an opportunity to dip their toe into her work for only .20 per story.

Maxxwell said, ?I love writing for my readers. It?s one of my favorite things I do, and I see no reason why they should spend a fortune to familiarize themselves with my writing.?

When asked if she felt like she was pricing herself too low, Maxxwell said, ?No, absolutely not. I write constantly, and I?ll always have new stuff. ?50 Shades? offers new readers a great way to get to know me. Once you read one Lexi Maxxwell short, you will want to read another, so I don?t see an underpriced book as leaving dollars on the table, I see it as gaining a possible lifetime reader. That means everything to me.?

According to Maxxwell, and many of the erotica forums, on Amazon and many other places online, there?s an abundance of subpar erotica. She wanted to give readers an easy way to recommend her work to their friends.

?There?s a ton of garbage out there. Just because there?s a ton of cheap erotica, doesn?t mean that much of the erotica is a good deal. Nothing is more valuable than your time. I want to produce erotica that?s worth reading, without being hard on your wallet.?

So far, Maxxwell?s gamble has payed off big with reader enthusiasm. In just two short weeks, ?50 Shades of Lexi Maxxwell? has earned 30 5-star reviews and 2 4-star reviews.

?I couldn?t be more thrilled,? Maxxwell said. ?I feel very, very fortunate to have such wonderful readers; readers who enjoy my work enough to take their valuable time to leave a review. Positive reviews are one of the hardest things for authors to earn, by far. Clicking on the ?50 Shades? page and seeing so many 5-star reviews tells me I?m writing the right things, and writing them in the right way.?

Lexi?s fanbase has been steadily growing through the year, and is poised to explode once she finally releases her first full novel later this year.

?I?m pushing for an October release,? she said. ?But I?m willing to nudge it to November if I need to. This isn?t a short story, it?s a full book, with the character arcs and solid development readers expect. It?s worth my time and attention to make sure it?s my best work before its release.?

In the meantime, Maxxwell is considering putting together another bundle.

?I?m definitely thinking about it. Fans loved the first one, and I don?t want anyone waiting too long to get what they really want.?

In the meantime, fans, new readers, or the simply curious can find Lexi?s serialized erotica hit, The XXX Files for free.

Abbe David Lowell to Receive 2013 White Collar Criminal Defense Award

Prominent white collar litigator Abbe David Lowell will receive the 2013 White Collar Criminal Defense Award during the NACDL White Collar Criminal Defense College program at Stetson University College of Law in Tampa Bay, Fla. The award, which honors individuals who have made a profound impact on the field of white collar criminal defense advocacy, will be presented on Jan. 12, 2013.

Mr. Lowell, a partner at Chadbourne & Parke LLP and head of the firm's White Collar Defense, Regulatory Investigations and Litigation Group, is one of the nation's leading white collar defense and trial attorneys. He has successfully tried cases in 17 states and argued in more than a dozen courts of appeals, including the Supreme Court. He advises clients in their dealings with the U.S. Congress, state legislatures, and federal and state regulatory agencies. Mr. Lowell has defended notable high-profile public and political clients, most recently former U.S. presidential candidate Senator John Edwards, whose four-week trial ended with an acquittal and hung jury counts, resulting in the Justice Department dropping the case on June 13, 2012.

"I am honored and humbled to receive this award from my peers, and want to thank both the Stetson University College of Law and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers for selecting me," said Mr. Lowell. "I am proud to work with my white collar defense colleagues around the country to maintain the balance between government and the rights of those charged with crimes."

Mr. Lowell also served as chief minority counsel during impeachment proceedings against former President Bill Clinton and as special ethics counsel to the House Committee of Standards of Official Conduct. He was special counselor to the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights in the investigation and prosecution of human rights violations and war crimes in Rwanda and the former Yugoslavia from 1994-96. Mr. Lowell teaches criminal law, evidence and trial practice at Georgetown Law Center and Columbia Law School and has written extensively on criminal law and procedure issues in legal and non-legal publications.

He has been recognized as one of the most influential attorneys and best white collar defense attorneys in the U.S. by publications including The National Law Journal as well as Chambers and Best Lawyers in America.?

The NACDL White Collar Criminal Defense College at Stetson is a legal education program for practitioners wishing to gain key advocacy skills and learn substantive white collar law from masters in the field. The program is scheduled for Jan. 9-13, 2013. For more information, contact Stetson Law Professor Ellen S. ATHENS, Greece?Antonis Samaras became Greece's prime minister just three months ago, but he has already become a veteran in a two-front war. Samaras is trying to keep his country in the eurozone by agreeing to major budget cuts demanded by the troika?the European Commission, the International Monetary Fund, and the European Central Bank. Internally, he faces the almost certain prospect of social unrest in opposition to the austerity measures, while externally, he must convince the rest of Europe that he's serious about change. Lally Weymouth talked to Samaras in Athens on Wednesday. Excerpts:

L.W: How did your meeting with European Central Bank President Mario Draghi go yesterday?

A.S.: We talked about the need for liquidity. It is a prerequisite for us to start the much expected recovery. Without liquidity, you cannot give money to small, medium, or large enterprises through the banks, and you cannot allow the system to breathe. And we need a lot of breaths at this point.

L.W.: Did Draghi tell you anything specific?

A.S.: We proposed different things to him: The ECB provides liquidity, either through bonds or through the emergency liquidity assistance. Other countries have access to the markets, whereas Greece does not. Therefore, we have to get liquidity through the ECB.

L.W.: Did Draghi give you hope?

A.S.: Draghi, like everyone else, is talking about the need to first see the troika report.

L.W.: Reportedly, the troika is demanding that your government is going to have to come up with spending cuts of about 11 billion euros and additional tax revenue. Do you believe you can do this and get your coalition partners to agree? Can you get it passed by parliament?

A.S.: Our determination is given. It is 11.7 billion euros in expenditure cuts. All 11.7 billion has to do with making the government smaller and the whole system more efficient. Through cutting more expenditures, the economy becomes weaker because [there is] a GDP decrease. In the last five years, our GDP decreased by 20 percent. If we are to add this additional 11.7 billion, our GDP will decrease by about 25 percent. This is too big to swallow.

L.W.: But you are going to go through with the reforms?

A.S.: We have to make sure that we abide by what we have signed because we believe that what they call "Grexit" [a Greek exit from the eurozone] is not an option for us?it would be a catastrophe. In 2013, we are going to have a country in the sixth year of a recession with unemployment above 22 percent and rising. We are here to fulfill our obligations, to meet our targets. We only insist upon that missing ingredient, which is to bring recovery soon. How? Liquidity.

L.W.: If you get the troika money all at once, wouldn't you use it to recapitalize your banks?

A.S.: Yes, if we get the next tranche, which I hope will be in October, it will recapitalize the banks and provide us with more than $6 billion of arrears, which is money the government owes the private sector. This will enhance liquidity. But the IMF has already estimated that the next three years will find Greece still in a recession. We have to avoid this by any means. We have to make sure that instruments like the ones that can be put forward by the ECB will be activated for Greece.

L.W.: Like infrastructure funds?

A.S.: These are funds already earmarked for Greece that are still [frozen]. These funds and two other factors will serve as a fiscal stimulus. The first is we have to fight tax evasion. We have to reform the tax-collecting mechanism and to ensure there are harsh punishments for those who evade. The other element is privatization. ? But we need to conclude this deal fast. The troika is in continuous talks with the minister of finance and other ministers. We have to get to that 11.7 billion and be sure that both agree on the numbers.

L.W.: Isn't the troika demanding that you pass the cuts through parliament?

A.S.: I have to pass it through parliament, and it will pass parliament because we all realize the No. 1 prerequisite for our future is to stay in the eurozone. But it is a four-year program, not something we can do today.

L.W.: But you asked for a two-year extension, didn't you?

A.S.: We are asking for enough time. Instead of the 11.7 billion euro package taking place over two years, it would be best if it were to take place over four years. Two years?up until 2014?has been accepted by the troika. We are talking about an extension to 2016.
